Partner Yoga

Leave the ground behind, and learn to fly with Courage!

In this workshop you will release your tension and fears like no other yoga class! Learn to trust yourself and others in this fun, and interactive setting. No partner necessary. Learn partner stretching sequences that will keep you bendy and strong! Improve balance, core strength, mindful communication, trust and awareness. We will start with the basics and work towards partner balancing yoga poses.

Every Wednesday night from 8:15pm-9:15pm

$50 pre-pay for entire series workshop.

This progressive 4 week series is designed to teach you basic form and alignment as well as foundational yoga philosophy and breathing practices, preparing you for any of our daily classes. You may take this 4-week session as often as you like. Seasoned practitioners looking to get back to basics and/or students who would prefer a more gentle class are also encouraged to take this class.

  • Should you need to miss a class one makeup class is allowed to be taken during the following workshop month.
  • All students are welcome to take this workshop. Current class cards and unlimited memberships are applicable. For those purchasing the $50 Asana Foundation Workshop card pre-registration is required and space is guaranteed. Workshop card is only applicable to this series, not other scheduled classes.

After you complete the series, sign up for our first time 2 week unlimited for $20.

It’s springtime! Don’t let this opportunity pass you by. Nature will not set the stage for your growth again like this until next year. Let’s wake up from our hibernation, till the soil with core work and inversions, fertilize it with gratitude and plant seeds with intention and mantra meditation.

We will use the techniques of hatha yoga: including asana, pranayama, bhavana (visualization) and japa meditation to remember who we really are as peaceful and powerful beings through being in the present moment. We will learn a simple mantra and how to meditate using meditation beads (mala.)

This workshop is suitable for continuing yoga students who are able to hold downward dog with straight arms and are open to going upside-down!


Bring:

  • Journal and pen
  • Mat and blanket
  • Mala Meditation beads
  • You as your perfectly imperfect Sunday self.

Taught By: Jennifer Hill LMP, RYT 200

Jennifer has been teaching yoga since 2000. She brings her experience as a healer and dancer to her teaching. She trained ballet with Pacific NW Ballet for 5 years, and minored in Dance at the UW. She currently is studying Ayurveda, the “science of life” from India and practices massage therapy in addition to her yoga teaching.
